Day 0 : Arrival in Tanzania

As for preparation,you are advised to arrive atleast one day before the kilimanjaro climbing day.Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Driver will take you to your overnight accommodation. Your head guide will meet you for briefing, a health checkup, gear check and arrange for you to hire any equipment you may need.

Day 1 : Marangu Gate - Mandara Hut

6 days Marangu route climbing adventure starts Early in the morning after heavy breakfast, our driver will take you from hotel to Marangu Gate, which takes about 45 minutes. Hike begins at the gate. From there, we will walk through the dense rainforest where you may see monkeys, birds, and other wildlife. The hike to Mandara Hut is 8.3 kilometers (5 miles) long take about 4-5 hours

Day 2 : Mandara Hut - Horombo Hut

On day 2 you climb through more beautiful rainforest, but soon the forest gives way to moorland. The snowcapped peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi can be seen. After trekking for 6 to 8 hours you reach Horombo Hut, where you stay for the night.

Day 3 : Horombo Hut Acclimatization day

The third day of 6 days climbing is acclimatization day. Which means you will not be climbing any higher, this is the good opportunity to rest and adjust to the altitude.You can also take a day hike to Mawenzi Ridge, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 4 : Horombo Hut - Kibo Hut

This is a hard day's climb among of 6 days to Kibo hut.You will walk crossing the terrain of The Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. When you arrive at your hut you should relax, because the next hike to the summit starts at midnight, Habitat Alpine Desert the hike to Kibo Hut is 10.5km(6 miles) which will take about 6-8hrs

Day 5 : Kibo Hut - Uhuru Peak - Horombo-Hut

The fifth day of 6 days Marangu route kilimanjaro climbing is called summit day. The hike to Uhuru Peak is 6.25km(3.9miles) long takes about 5-7hrs.The marangu trail is steep and challenging but the views from the summit are absolutely attractive and wonders. After reaching Uhuru peak,the top of the highest mountain in Africa, celebrate your accomplishment.Take pictures and sing the Kilimanjaro anthem, there after few minutes you will descent to Horombo Hut for the night

Day 6 of 6 days Marangu route Kilimanjaro climb : Horombo Hut - Marangu gate

This is the last day of our 6 days Marangu route kilimanjaro climbing Marangu route.It is a much easier day as you have the luxury of walking downhill on the way to Marangu Gate. Lunch is served at Mandara hut on the way down. At the gate, you will receive a certificate of a successful summit.Then your driver will meet you and take you back to your hotel for a warm shower.
